Google Calendar

Connect Google Calendar so Octone can mark busy on answer and end the event on hangup.

Tenant admins connect this at Admin → Integrations (/admin/integrations). The Calendar presence module must be on.

Connect

  1. Open Integrations.
  2. Under Google Calendar, click Connect Google Calendar.
  3. Sign in with Google and allow calendar event access.
  4. Octone stores a refresh token encrypted for this company (not shown again).

If the button is missing or explains that Google OAuth is not set up, the landlord must add Google OAuth on the platform (client id, client secret, and redirect https://octone.co/api/integrations/google/callback). Tenants never paste API keys.

Company Sign in with Google uses a different redirect (https://octone.co/api/auth/google/callback) on the same OAuth client so login and Calendar do not collide.

What it does

  • When a call is answered, Octone creates a busy event on the connected calendar.
  • When the call hangs up, Octone ends that event.

Disconnect from the same card to stop creating events. Existing events on Google are not bulk-deleted.

Private iCal feed

Each person can still enable a private busy feed from the user portal (Find me / calendar). That feed does not need Google OAuth. Google Calendar is the live “busy now” path; iCal is the subscribe-in-any-app path.
